This Privacy Policy explains how ColorLover Inc. ("ColorLover", "we", "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (together, the "Services").
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

We do not ask for and do not intentionally collect government identification numbers, precise location, financial account numbers, or health records through the Services.
3. How we use information

- To generate and display your personal color analysis result
- To process purchases and provide customer support
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues
- To improve product quality, including aggregate and de-identified analysis
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Images and biometric considerations
Images submitted for analysis are processed to extract colour characteristics such as skin, hair, and eye tone. We do not use submitted images to identify or authenticate individuals, we do not build face recognition templates for identification purposes, and we do not sell images or derived data.
Unless you explicitly save an image to your profile, images submitted for analysis are retained only as long as needed to produce and return the result, and are then deleted. Images you choose to save remain until you delete them or delete your account.
5. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Services you request), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, product improvement), consent (for optional processing such as marketing communications or saving images), and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only with:
- Service providers who host, store, or process data on our behalf under contract (for example cloud hosting, crash reporting, and customer support tools)
- App stores (Apple, Google) for purchases, subscriptions, and refunds, which they process under their own privacy policies
- Legal recipients where required by applicable law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property
- Corporate transactions — if all or part of our business is transferred, personal information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy
7. International transfers
We operate internationally, and personal information may be processed in the United States, the Republic of Korea, and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for such transfers.
8. Retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above. Account data is retained while your account is active and deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except where a longer period is required by law (for example, transaction records for tax and accounting purposes).
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, use the in-app account controls or email colorlovers2@colorloverinc.com from the address associated with your account. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
10. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, access controls, and limits on internal access to personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we will provide additional notice through the Services.
